Fall Wedding Décor Ideas

Autumn is full of jewel-tone colors, cooler weather, and fun holidays. Here are some wedding décor ideas that correspond with this amazing season!

 Colors

One idea you could go with would be a neutral color palette. This season brings out a lot of earthy tones. You can incorporate beige, white, forest green, brown, and even black. There are many shades of each that you can play with. We tend to think that fall is all dark, but the foliage can also be bold and beautiful neutral tones.

Jewel-tones are popular as well. These could be emerald, garnet, sapphire, ruby, amethyst, and more. They are darker tones, but still vibrant. Showcasing these colors in the bridal party wardrobe would be nice, as well as the centerpieces.

Ombré florals are gorgeous as wel!. Since we see both light neutrals and dark jewel-tones, you can have an array of colors within the same theme. This color scheme starts from light to dark, which can be shown in the placement of the florals. Maybe start with light color roses at one end of your wedding arch, and end at the dark colors.

Centerpieces

Wooden centerpieces are a go to for your fall décor. There are many shapes and sizes of holders for your florals that are wooden or have a wood look to them. Your arch could be made out of wood as well. Tree branches could also be incorporated into centerpieces.

Greenery is another nice table accent option. You could have a long strip going down the center of the tables, with a floral touch.

Dried florals are also popular, such as pampas grass. It will give it a more boho feel if you wanted to go that route. These would be a good contrast next to a bold colored fresh floral.

Seasonal fruit would be a nice touch, to really give off the fall vibes. Incorporate berries and pomegranates. Pumpkins would be great too for your table settings, too.

Garments

Velvet is often seen in beautiful jewel-tones. Why not have your bridesmaids wearing some gorgeous velvet dresses? You can stick with one color, multiple shades of the same color, or even have everyone wear a different one.

Other Décor

Candles would really set the mood, especially if they are scents of the fall. We are talking more than just for the centerpieces. Incorporate them on the floor of the aisle, as well as tall standing ones by the wedding arch and corners of the room.

If it is close to a holiday, you can utilize that as well. For Halloween, you might use some spooky décor. This might be pumpkins, fake webbing, skeleton inspired tableware, and more.

Food

Have a s’more station to create a more interactive food display. This will make you feel like you are by a nice fire on a crisp fall evening. You can also have pumpkin spice flavored items, such as your wedding cake or cupcakes.
